Best RA Blog Birthday Gift

Best RA blog birthday gift

Your contributions through comments, emails, and friendship have been the best gift to me!

At the 10TH birthday of the RA Warrior blog and website, exciting things are happening. First, the Rheumatoid Patient Foundation (RPF) is offering you an opportunity to be heard and make a difference at the same time:

RPF is collaborating with Mayo Clinic to conduct a study on how people with rheumatoid arthritis view treatment goals. We are currently looking for participants to assist this study by completing a brief survey about their RA treatment goals and experiences. Participants must be U.S. residents, at least 18 years of age, and have a diagnosis of RA.

Add your voice! If you meet these criteria, we greatly appreciate your participation in this survey and thank you for being an important part of this research project!

Why an RA blog and website?

After 13 years with full-blown, 24-7-365, every-joint-RA, my understanding of the disease has progressed. But even with all I’ve learned in 10 years with an RA blog and community, I STILL believe that individual people living with rheumatoid disease (PRD) need two things most: information and encouragement.

And, as a group, we need more basic research to understand the disease and better treatments that work for more PRD.

As I sat in my backyard with my laptop ten years ago, building this RA blog and website seemed like the fastest route to advance these goals.

Second, after a long effort, the website remodel is nearing completion! Comment below on what would be most helpful to you.

Hi Kelly – We have been friends for 11 years!! And I’m still not to the point of “loving” my RD, but I don’t “hate” it as badly. Guess that’s some kind of progress! Hope to see you here in “Hotlanta” in November!

I am so grateful for this site.
It helped me when I was first diagnosed a year ago and still does today.
Your book RD Unmasked is wonderful and answered so much for me.
As most of what the Doctors said did not totally agree w with what I was experiencing.
Love the information, thank you for saving my sanity.
