We’re giving away 2 sets of six Trudeau Stressless kitchen tools

HERE ARE THE TOOLS with my descriptions of how they worked for me:

Rotary cheese grater – Like they use at Italian restaurants so the kids went “ooo.” Turning this crank wasn’t much easier than using a microplane. One uses the wrist more and the other uses fingers, so it depends on what’s works best for you at the time. I was surprised when I turned it left-handed and the handle detached. I guess that’s for cleaning, but I switch hands often due to pain.

Salt mill – We don’t usually grind salt at table, but if you’re a salt connoisseur, you’ll like that you can turn the handle different directions for coarse or fine salt. The large size and shape of the grinder are good for my hands. However, while full of salt, it’s too heavy for my RA hand. Maybe I’ll like it better half-full.

Pepper mill – Fresh ground pepper is popular here so we like this. Ease of use was the same as the salt.

Trudeau garlic pressGarlic press – My sore fingers liked holding this one the least, but no issue with healthy fingers, I’m sure. I was able to crush the garlic with about the same effort as with my other garlic press. A larger piece is easier.

My son Daniel found it easy to clean. I don’t wash dishes any more – it’s not worth the pain. But then I don’t usually crush garlic either.

Pizza cutter – The handle is fat; that’s fantastic. Weight is good: light! I cut a tough English muffin to test the sharpness. It was an effort for me, but it was sharp enough. The blade removes for cleaning – with a big snap. Not something I’d do, but Daniel thought it was cool.

Can opener – I’ve been through several can openers since the RA – not sure why I don’t have a plug-in one. Probably because I have teenagers to rely on. This can opener easily opened a tuna can without any sharp edge. My hands hurt afterwards, but then they hurt beforehand too.

I wanted to participate in the contest, but I do not have Outlook Express nor do I know how to connect it. Is there another way to enter?

You do no need Outlook or any other program to participate. If your computer tried to open the email address with Outlook Express, that means it’s probably somewhere on your computer (whether you usually use it or not – same with me). Nothing like that is here on the website, just an email address.

All you do is send a regular email to contest@www.rawarrior.com. Put your answers in the email. Put something like Scavenger Hunt or Gadget Contest in the subject of the email so it’s really obvious. I’ll save all the emails & announce the winners after it’s over.
