Being thankful, even with Rheumatoid Arthritis

God is good even when we cannot see why things happen. He will bring us through the trial, more refined and more reliant upon Him. Knowing that helps me to hold on through the rough spots.

I thank Him that I am not alone in this journey. I give thanks for each of the wonderful readers of this blog.  You touch my life by reading, commenting, blogging, tweeting … it is a great harmony. I wish I could meet every one of you in person some day!

I give thanks for my daughters who do all they can to make my life better. And sons: what mother doesn’t give special thanks for sons? I am so blessed to have three of them. I am so thankful that I am here to watch them do every crazy that thing boys do.

Here are a few more things for which I am thankful every day:

For living in this generous and decent country.              Apple pie

For the noble men and women of our military.

For the internet!

For my feather bed!

For pumpkin pie, pumpkin milkshakes, pumpkin coffee cake, and pumpkin coffee…

For heaven paid in full, with this life thrown in.

What are you thankful for?

I am thankful for you, you have given me the courage to ask for help like today when I needed a huge pot of boiling water drained. I didn’t lift it myself and hurt myself, I asked for help. 🙂

    I am thankful for:
my husband and his big strong muscles to lift, open and carry when I cannot

my three wonderful doggies who are my children and make me smile every single day

COFFEE and Redbull 🙂 especially Starbucks <3

My family, all of them; cousins, brothers, sister, two sets of parents…

Babies, because they are so beautiful and precious and they smell like the fountain of youth!

AS Meds, they make my life so much better (and able to walk)

G-d, and the mysterious ways he works.

    The internet!

I am so very thankful for this blog, for Kelly and her wonderful, welcoming and loving daily tweets. Her courage and dedication to helping all of us, and because of her the ability to connect with so many of you on this blog and via twitter; creating such a large, warm and loving support network for all of us.

The boiling pot is a tough one for me. Tough to do it. Tough to ask for help. Thanks for sharing your good example. 😉
