The doors are open – the new rawarrior.com t-shirt site is up with many new designs & products! The attitude is uniquely RA Warrior. It’s what I like to call “gentle advocacy” with positive designs that portray hope, gently confront ignorance, and increase awareness of RD / RA or other chronic illnesses. It’s much more than a rheumatoid arthritis t-shirt store!

CAUTION FLARE ZONE hoodie: It’s great to convey some humor (an orange cone!), the severity of the situation (a warning sign), and hopefulness (“treatment in progress”) at the same time!

I GOT STRONGER t-shirt: It didn’t get easier but I got stronger. The heart design is meaningful because I created the fonts using Celtic scrolls and warrior symbols. I’m Irish and my name is an ancient Gaelic word for guess what? Warrior The design took me a month to create last year and I’m so delighted to have it on some products now.

STANDING BY MY MAN WITH RD mug: Men are a minority with RD/ RA, but many women who love them (significant others, moms, and daughters) follow RA Warrior to support these guys. Renovating RAwarrior.com – more rebuilding!

I remember a limerick from childhood like this: Let’s build a new house. Let’s build the new house out of the old house. Let’s live in the old house while we’re building the new house. I think the pictures were really funny. (Please comment if you know what book that is.)

I’ve begun some repairs and renovation of rawarrior.com. Over time, standards of website code change, and things need to be updated. There are newer better ways of doing things – just like in a house. Most of the work will be behind the scenes but eventually the front page may also have a fresh look. So, I’ll be building a new site one out of the old one, while still using the old one. Hopefully there won’t be any big glitches.
