Rheumatoid Arthritis Blog goes dot com
Moving this RA blog
It’s time for one of those blogs I avoid – for a short chat about the blog itself. I won’t weary you with details! Just need to let you know where we stand.
After more than 20 hours of wrangling, we have the old blogger links pointing here to our new home on rawarrior.com. (No, a standard redirect would not work.) So here we all are on the same page, so to speak.
It’s bittersweet to leave blogger behind. That’s where I met most of you. 😀
Some of the bells and whistles to make this site run have been installed now. But we have a few more to finish. That has been my work almost full time the last couple of weeks – which has made for some very late nights keeping the blog up, too.
My goal is to make the site easier for ya’ll to navigate as I put up more “pages.” But as you can see, the wallpaper is still not hung. So, there is a ways to go. Moving is always hard for me.
You know, I counted it up just now and I have moved at least 20 times in my life. I don’t even like to move. I hope the next one will be my last.
A couple of more important items:
Many who follow my blog have websites / blogs of your own. And many of you have been kind enough to place the RA Warrior blog on your blogroll (or blogs I follow list). Would you be willing to update the links there so that they match my current address? Of course that is https://www.rawarrior.com.
And finally, I want to mention that eventually you will see a few advertisements on this site. Financially, the blog has cost me a great deal of course (combination of time and money). But it is my passion, so I did not mind. Donations are also accepted via PayPal.
However, I may need to use advertising to pay back some folks who help me with blog issues when I cannot afford to pay them with cash. Also, there are MANY things that I want to do and could do someday for our cause if I only had the resources. So, instead of complaining about that, I am going to use ads or sponsors on the site to begin moving in that direction. Of course, they will be tasteful, useful, and appropriate. You may contact me here if you are interested: Kelly at rawarrior dot com.

I support your decision to have advertising space. won’t bother me a bit and it’s a huge step in the right direction for your cause. Hope people will keep that in mind.
Best of luck in your move! I completely understand the need to have some ads on here and I am sure others will feel the same way.
I agree the ads are OK. Everyone else does them. Let me know if you start reselling wordpress. I like affiliate ads, but not as much money as set fee ads. I would be OK with a PayPal button for donations, I would donate.
